THE YCC

The Youth Conservation was created in 2009 by the Wisconsin Conservation Congress. Over the past few years, the YCC has grown tremendously. Many of the opportunities I have been able to experience have been facilitated through the YCC. The goal of the YCC is " to effectively engage, educate and involve youth in the management and protection of our natural resources and foster a conservation ethic through participation in the Wisconsin Youth Conservation Congress," and I would say they definitely accomplish this goal. Even just over the past year I have learned so much, whether it's in-person or at the virtual monthly meetings. I would wholeheartedly recommend joining the YCC if you even have a slight interest in natural resources. More information can be found here.
